Bio for Website: Jess is a visionary artist whose work channels the dreamscape of the subconscious, blending myth, memory, and mysticism. With a background in both education and military service, her creative path took flight after a profound spiritual awakening sparked by solo backpacking around the world. While currently working as a flight attendant, she began drawing on the go, capturing dream symbols, sacred archetypes, and cosmic downloads between flights and in foreign cities. That nomadic chapter combined with sacred healing ceremonies and ancestral reconnection, awakened a deep inner calling: to create art as a way of processing emotion, accessing other realms, and translating the unseen in a way that connects others with their own divinity and creative energy. Poetry has also been a guiding force in her work-often serving as both inspiration and ritual in her creative process.  Her pieces are portals, inviting us to feel, remember, and reconnect with what lies beneath the surface of everyday life. Through her charcoal and oil paintings, Jess explores themes of inner freedom, spiritual embodiment, and the dynamic balance between the divine feminine and masculine. Her work honors the full spectrum of being-softness and strength, chaos and clarity. She creates with the hope of stirring the inner artist within others and reminding us that we are, and have always been, our own muse. 

Materials and Techniques: Jess’s creative process is intuitive and immersive, shaped by a deep connection to emotion, sound, and symbolism. She often begins by sketching loosely from dream fragments, personal memories, or imagery sparked by travel, healing ceremonies, or ancestral connections. Music plays a vital role in her creative flow. Whether listening to cinematic scores, EDM, or ethereal vocals, sound helps guide the movement of her hand and the energy of each piece. Singing and ballet also become part of her creative ritual, allowing her to embody the emotion she seeks to express and connect to the creative force that lives within us all. 

Her practice is also a dialogue with the artists and visionaries who’ve come before-drawing inspiration from their courage, authenticity, and unwavering devotion to creating from the heart.
