Erica Sloan

Bio for Website: LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY THAT INSPIRES YOU TO TAKE A BREATH AND ENJOY THE MOMENT. Photography has been a way for me to foster connections, find my calm, and spark my creativity. When I first moved to Boston, I didn’t know a soul. As a self-proclaimed introvert, photography workshops helped me connect with others. When COVID hit, and my anxiety increased, photography helped me find my calm. Every time I set up my camera to snap a photo, my goal is to capture not only the beauty in what’s in front of me but also the emotions it stirs within me - whether it be a lighthouse in Maine or the Northern Lights in Iceland. I started Erica Joy Photography because I love sharing my photos and helping others experience these “awe-inspiring” moments every day in their own space.

Materials and Techniques: My photographs are captured using a Sony mirrorless camera and developed with post-processing techniques. I print on paper and aluminum, using dye sublimation.
