Artist Bio

I started my work life working for a large corporation as just another cog in the machine. I worked almost 10 years before I realized that this is not where I wanted to be for the rest of my working life. So I made a plan and enacted that plan which was to quit and live a life as an artist. With dreams in hand I made concrete business goals so I could survive without the confines of a cubicle. As a Asian American artist I wanted to bring my eastern culture into my pieces of art. Whether it is the technique or imagery my work shows off the different cultures of Asia. I offered first my paper art and then later I brought Asian ink painting techniques into my screen printings. Also as a Massachusetts artist I try to bring influences into some of my pieces like Boston landscapes or funny magnets.
